Who we are

Atelier Lenteur is an AI and tech consultancy studio defined by its unique philosophy: lenteur (slowness, depth, and soulful intentionality).

Atelier means “studio” in French and is normally attributed to a place of creation of art, expressive freedom—a place where craftsmanship and particular know-how is cherished and respected.

Lenteur means “slowness” in French. But also it is “slowness” with nuance: deep, intentional, calm, taking time to savour the present moment. We choose this word because we believe in the value of slowing down, being present, truly listening and understanding in order to craft something meaningful and real.

The idea of the Atelier was born out of disenchantment with the current direction of technology and its use, and a distrust of the hype. Most people have a gloomy outlook on AI and its applications. The principle of “Move fast and break things” might lead to great leaps, but at the same time, it has brought many issues throughout history, such as climate change, tech bubbles, and the radicalisation of society.

As a calm but steady force against this trend, we believe in the use of AI to serve human life—putting “human” first. Atelier is committed to a thoughtful, deliberate, and pragmatic approach to designing, implementing, and validating AI solutions for socially and ethically conscious problems. We intend to understand the problem deeply and work together to find the best solution aligned with your values, vision, and constraints.
